pre-wedding shoot
This is an important part of your wedding photography experience. It allows us to learn more about your preferences and personality as a couple. It also gives you the opportunity to get to know us and how we operate. Our organised and professional, yet relaxed and friendly approach will help you to relax in preparation for your wedding day shots. Prior to your pre-wedding shoot we will discuss with you the schedule and details of your big day. We can learn more about your family, and the shots that are important to you will be agreed upon and noted. Following this, we will go to a suitable nearby location for your pre-wedding shoot. This can be suggested by us, or a place of your choice. We will spend about two hours with you here, or more if necessary, to ensure that you are confident and happy with your photography experience. During this time we run through a few standard poses, prompted shots and then some more spontaneous work. You will be able to view all of the images taken soon after the pre-wedding shoot. You and your family will then have the opportunity to purchase any photographs of your choice. You can even choose to incorporate any pre-wedding shots into your final wedding album, or use an image from the shoot on invitations for your wedding day.

A typical day will unfold as follows:
We will arrive about an hour before the bride will put on her dress, to photograph the small details of her preparation. Following this we look to capture memorable moments of the preparation, such as when the mother-of-the-bride sees her daughter in her wedding dress for the first time.
Following this, we will make our way to your ceremonial location to photograph the groom and his party. At this time we can also capture the arrival of your guests in an informal manner.
Every wedding ceremony is different, but our focus is always the same - capturing the emotion and beautiful moments of your wedding; the moments that you want to remember for a lifetime.
The time after the ceremony is always a time of celebration, when the bride, groom and their guests offer exhilarated smiles and laughter. We don't want to miss a moment of this and will work to candidly capture this time for you. If newly weds would like a photograph of all of their guests together, this is often the most appropriate time to take it.
Following this the most formal shots take place, and we will always scout out the best locations for these to take place near your reception venue. Often we want to capture the emotion as opposed to the scenery, but everything can be discussed and tailored to the parties' requirements.
We stay to take pictures of your wedding reception, and once again this is about continuing to capture the spirit of the occasion. We will try to photograph as many of your guests as possible.
As an option we are available for commission for a day after shoot. The bride and groom can dress up again should they wish, and we have the option to take some beautiful shots without the pressure of the wedding day. We can use several different locations, or just one. Usually this can last around 2 hours, but once again we can be flexible to fit your requirements.

post wedding
Shortly after your wedding your images will be ready to view. We will meet you to discuss your images and what you specifically desire from your album and any additional prints. After your viewing, all images shown on the day will be uploaded for your restricted viewing on our website. We can provide you with cards to put into your thank you cards to invite guest to the site to view and purchase your images should they like. After this meeting we will go away to put together your album and then return to you with what will be a prized possession for life.
